This sculpture is made from materials found in modern homes - specifically, my mother's home - newspaper, aluminum foil, masking tape, sticks, old bedding, plaster.

The materials reflect how a house becomes a home when the mother is revered,
and imagines the female body as an archive of lived experience, carrying the wisdom of history and survival.

The work evokes the ancient Greek oracles of Delphi, where the female voice once carried divine guidance.
The red thread carries stories of fate, of invisible bonds, of lines that connect past and future.
Between her hands, a cat’s cradle is formed, an ancient game passed between children across cultures and generations, an invisible bond of our shared humanity.
